Description
Inspired by a customer with the individual integration of an MFD15 in a Mazda MX5, we have designed a specific conversion kit, which makes it possible to remove the original oil pressure indicator and to install our display – WITHOUT cutting – the CANchecked Mazda MX5 speedometer conversion
The only small modification to the dash that needs to be made is a hole for the cable feed-through on the back of the dash cluster.
The OLED technology of the display ensures the best readability even in sunlight. It is operated using the CANchecked rotary knob, which enables precise control of the display.

Yes all the pictures are LHD, but the MFA2.0 for MX5 also fits RHD.

Here are a few conversion pictures using an MX5 NB speedometer as an example (an NA version is also available; we are working on an NC version):
– What’s in it –
Our MFD15 is installed , software and hardware (apart from the housing) are identical.
In addition to the Can Bus connection, the display has 4 analog inputs for connecting 0-5V sensors (oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost pressure, exhaust gas temperature with type K converter). These inputs can be configured individually (mapping the 0-5V signal to the real values).
The conversion is suitable for any DIY enthusiast or Local CANchecked installer. Installation instructions are included.
