Description
The TCCXX are the big siblings of our TCC01 . However, the significant difference lies in the data transmission. While the TCC01 outputs an analog 0-5 volt voltage, the TCCXX send their measured values to the CAN bus. Our TCCXX comes in four different sizes and designs and all sample at an adjustable frequency of up to 100 Hz:
- TCC04 – quadruple Type-K on CAN

- TCC06 – six-fold Type-K on CAN

- TCC08 – eight-fold Type-K on CAN

- TCC10 – tenfold Type-K on CAN

These allow you to connect up to ten Type-K thermocouples and send the measured values via CAN bus and/or monitor them directly on your WLAN-enabled device.
Type-K thermocouples are suitable for various applications such as measuring exhaust gas temperature (AGT), temperatures before/after the intercooler, cylinder head temperatures, water temperature, oil temperature and more. All measurements are cold junction compensated with a measuring range of 0 to 1250°C in 0.25°C resolution (14bit).
The TCCXX have a four-pin DTM connection for CAN/power and miniature K sockets. The CAN 2.0A/B standard is supported with flexible configuration. This means your next EGT to CAN module is compatible with many devices from other manufacturers.
The highlight is the WLAN connectivity, which you can use to configure and update your module via smartphone or PC and query the current temperature and thermocouple status.
